About The Position
Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a temporary, full-time Emergency Room Registered Nurse Traveler for the night shift. This position is part of a 14-week temporary assignment. The Emergency Department is a 35-bed unit that sees approximately 75,000 patients annually and has been ranked #1 ED for Patient Experience.
Requirements
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Two or more years of current acute care hospital RN ER experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient care activities.
