About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse for a hospital-based travel assignment in Cleveland, Ohio, for a duration of 13 weeks. This role involves providing specialized critical care to critically ill pediatric patients, including those requiring epilepsy monitoring and intensive care for patients up to 25 years old. The position requires working 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and includes a willingness to work at least every other holiday.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of permanent (staff) experience in PICU or pediatric critical care
• Minimum 18 months of recent pediatric experience (travel experience is acceptable)
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license (required at submission)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (AHA preferred)
• EKG and inotrope experience

Nice To Haves

• NIHSS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric ICU patients
• Monitor and manage complex pediatric conditions, including epilepsy and specialized care for children and young adults
• Administer medications, including inotropes, and perform EKG monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for patient care planning
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and quality measures
