Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one year of nursing experience
  • Experience with Pediatrics and or/ICU

Responsibilities

  • Perform continuous clinical assessment and monitoring of pediatric intensive care patients.
  • Manage life support, ensure pharmacological accuracy, and maintain vascular integrity through advanced technical interventions.
  • Serve as a clinical liaison, providing holistic advocacy and ethical support, with an emphasis on family-centered care.
  • Participate in rapid response situations, collaborate effectively with emergency leadership and interdisciplinary partners, and uphold unit safety standards.
