About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR) for a 13-week travel assignment at a reputable acute care facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in surgical settings and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position is located at an Acute Care Facility in Santa Rosa, California.
Requirements
- Active California RN License (pending license accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience
- BLS and other required certifications
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous travel nursing experience (first-time travelers welcome)
- Experience in outpatient surgical settings
Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room setting
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures and assist during operations
- Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members
- Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient care
