About The Position
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking a Temporary Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neuro ICU. This is a 16-bed unit specializing in critical care for patients with neurological conditions such as brain injuries, strokes, tumors, and spinal injuries. The assignment is for a 14-week period, full-time, night shift.
Requirements
- Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required.
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ACLS certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- Two or more years of current acute care hospital RN ICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to patients in the Neuro ICU.
- Manage patients with neurological conditions including brain injuries, strokes, tumors, and spinal injuries.
