About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical-Surgical (MS) unit. This role involves caring for adult patients with a variety of post-surgical and medical conditions in a fast-paced hospital setting. The patient population includes adults with common diagnoses such as post-surgical care, abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and bariatric surgery patients. Equipment used in this role includes IV pumps, nasogastric (N/G) tubes, and feeding tubes. Experience with the EPIC EMR system is required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of Medical-Surgical experience
- Current AHA BLS Certification
- Active New York RN License
- Verification of all active RN licenses
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
Responsibilities
- Caring for adult patients with a variety of post-surgical and medical conditions
- Utilizing IV pumps, nasogastric (N/G) tubes, and feeding tubes
- Working in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Floating to other units as required
