About The Position
Per Diem Staffing Systems, Inc. is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract on an Acuity Adaptable Unit at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, CA. This unit allows nurses to care for patients whose acuity may increase to Intermediate Care (IIC level) without transferring units. The position involves 12-hour day shifts, totaling 36 hours per week.
Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Minimum 3 years of recent Med/Tele RN experience
- Current AHA BLS Certification
- Current AHA ACLS Certification
- Current NIHSS Certification
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
- Successfully pass Stanford's EKG competency exam with a score of 85% or higher (2 attempts permitted)
- Reside more than 60 miles from Palo Alto, CA

Responsibilities
- Care for patients on an Acuity Adaptable Unit, managing varying levels of patient acuity.
