About The Position

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Templeton, California. This is a 13-week assignment with a start date of 08/31/2026. Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in California
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) and current NCLEX eligibility/passage
• Labor and Delivery nursing experience preferred; ability to work in a high-acuity obstetric setting
• Willingness to travel and commit to a 13-week assignment
• Ability to work nights and adapt to a fast-paced, evidence-based care environment
• This position is represented by CNA

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide nursing care for obstetric patients across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases, including emergencies.
• Circulate for cesarean deliveries and assist with obstetric procedures as needed.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status; administer medications; manage IV therapy and pain control.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary personnel within the scope of practice; collaborate with the care team.
• Educate patients and families about care plans, postpartum precautions, and newborn care; ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document care in the electronic medical record; participate in rounds and care planning activities.
