About The Position

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking ICU RN's for multiple travel/contract positions in Petoskey, MI. Accepting both local and traveler candidates. This role involves providing all aspects of Nursing care for patients in the ICU Unit, floating to other similar units as needed. The nurse will use clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions. Collaboration with other members of the healthcare team is essential for developing, implementing, and evaluating an individualized plan of care. The position also includes participating in patient and family teaching, and accurately recording information. Participation in multidisciplinary treatment planning and revising the plan of care based on assessment are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

Registered Nurse: 1-2 years - Required
ICU Nursing experience: Recent/Current 1 year – Required
EKG Comfortability - Required
Willing to float to other similar units - Required
ASN or an equivalent – Required
RN License for State of MI - Required
BLS, ACLS Certifications from AHA - Required

Nice To Haves

Neuro, CVICU, Trauma - Preferred
Managing Vents - Preferred
CRRT and Balloon Pumps - Preferred
Prior Travel experience – Preferred
BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred

Responsibilities

Provide all aspects of Nursing care for patients in ICU Unit.
Float to other similar units as needed.
Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions.
Collaborates with other members of the health care team to develop, implement, and evaluate an individualized written plan of care based upon a physiological, psychosocial, spiritual assessment consistent with patient/significant other’s changing needs & goals.
Participate in patient and family teaching.
Records information concisely, accurately and completely.
Participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment.
