About The Position

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Travel RN ICU for 13-week travel/contract positions in Keene, NH. This role involves coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching, and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting for assigned units ICU. The nurse must demonstrate clinical competence by utilizing the nursing process, assess and identify patient problems/needs, establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress. The role also includes assisting, supporting, and educating patients, and willingness to float to PCU as needed. The unit is a Level III Trauma with 10 beds, and the patient population is Adolescent-Geriatric, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2.

Requirements

  • Reside beyond a 50-mile radius of the facility location
  • Current ICU Nursing experience: 2 years
  • Arterial lines experience
  • Comfortable floating to PCU
  • Epic experience
  • Proficient with IV Drips, Ventilators, Hemodynamic Monitoring and Vaso Pressures
  • COVID Vaccinations or exemptions
  • ASN
  • RN License for State of New Hampshire or Compact
  • BLS Certification from AHA
  • ACLS Certification from AHSA
  • NIHSS Certification
