About The Position

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Travel RN ICU for multiple 13-week travel/contract positions in Mattoon, IL. To promote a diverse applicant pool, we seek travel nurses who reside beyond a 50-mile radius of the facility location. This position involves planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care in assigned units (ICU), assessing patients' physical and psychosocial status, performing ongoing assessments, and documenting findings. The role also includes participating in multidisciplinary care planning, assisting other staff, and incorporating patient teaching/discharge planning.

Requirements

Reside beyond a 50-mile radius of the facility location
2 years of current ICU RN experience
ASN - Required
RN License for State of Illinois - Required
BLS Certification from AHA - Required
ACLS Certification from AHA – Required

Responsibilities

Planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care in assigned units (ICU)
Assessing, utilizing age-specific data, the patient’s physical, and psychosocial, status in a comprehensive manner
Demonstrates accurate assessment skills, appropriate to the age of the patient
Performs ongoing assessments and completes required documentation within organizational standards
Performs and documents including observation, physical examination, laboratory/test results, and patient response to procedural intervention
Participates in the identification and clarification of patient needs, as evidenced by participation in multidisciplinary care planning, to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Assists other staff in the delivery of patient care, as appropriate
Incorporates patient teaching/discharge planning to promote optimal patient outcomes
