About The Position
Heartline Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room (ER) for a high-acuity travel assignment in Lubbock, Texas. This role supports a fast-paced emergency department in a Level II Trauma Center, treating a wide range of patient conditions including trauma, stroke, STEMI, respiratory distress, and general emergency presentations. The ideal candidate is confident in high-acuity environments and experienced with rapid patient assessment and intervention.
Requirements
- Active RN license (Compact or TX) required at submission
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience required (hard stop)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC required
- Epic charting experience required
- Community hospital experience required
- Strong triage, respiratory, and emergency response skills required
Nice To Haves
- Travel experience preferred but not required with 2+ years ER experience
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care in a high-acuity ER setting
- Perform rapid patient assessment, triage, and intervention
- Manage ventilated patients and respiratory support (BiPAP/CPAP)
- Administer IV therapies including vasopressors
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including respiratory, pharmacy, and radiology
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

- 36 Hours: Gross $2,029/week
- W2 $21.75/hr
- Stipend $1,246/week
