About The Position
Sentara Leigh Hospital located in Norfolk, VA is currently hiring an Emergency Room Registered Nurse Traveler! This is a temporary full-time, 14-week assignment for the night shift. Our Emergency Dept has a 35 bed Unit seeing approximately 75,000 patients annually and ranked #1 ED for Patient Experience!
Requirements
- Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIH Stroke Scale
- Two or more years of current acute care hospital ER RN experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
