About The Position

Per Diem Staffing Systems, Inc. is seeking three (3) experienced Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 13-week assignment at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, CA. This role is in a high-acuity Emergency Department environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting and possesses strong critical-care and trauma experience. Stanford Hospital pays based on experience, and travel and local rates vary.

Requirements

• Current California RN License
• Current BLS – AHA
• Current ACLS – AHA
• Current PALS
• Current TNCC
• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience
• EPIC electronic medical record experience
• Ability to successfully pass the required ECG exam (minimum passing score: 85%, 2 attempts permitted)

Nice To Haves

• Level I Trauma experience
• Strong high-acuity Emergency Department experience
• TNCC certification
• EPIC experience
• BSN preferred
• Minimal requested time off (RTO), preferably no more than one week during the assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a high-acuity Emergency Department environment.
• Work 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Be available to work weekends.
• Successfully pass the required ECG exam with a minimum passing score of 85% (2 attempts permitted).
