About The Position
Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a temporary full-time Emergency Room Registered Nurse Traveler for a 14-week assignment on the night shift. The Emergency Department is a 35-bed unit that sees approximately 75,000 patients annually and is ranked #1 for Patient Experience. This position offers a pay rate of $70.00/hr.
Requirements
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification.
- Two or more years of current acute care hospital ER RN experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Manage patient flow and care for approximately 75,000 patients annually.
- Ensure high patient satisfaction, contributing to the department's #1 ranking for Patient Experience.
