About The Position
Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit! This is a temporary full-time, 14-week assignment for the Day Shift. The unit is a 10-bed unit on the 2nd floor of the Sentara Heart Hospital. The patient population includes cardiac patients (not surgical), pulmonary hypertension, heart attacks, heart failure, and sepsis. This unit also serves as the Mobile Response Team (MRT) for the Heart Hospital.
Requirements
- Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS
- NIH Stroke Scale
- Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care ICU hospital RN experience
Responsibilities
- Provide care for cardiac patients (not surgical), pulmonary hypertension, heart attacks, heart failure, and sepsis.
- Serve as the MRT for the Heart Hospital.
