About The Position

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Behavioral Health RNs for multiple travel/contract positions in Lawton, OK. We are accepting both local and traveler candidates. This role involves providing all aspects of professional and comprehensive nursing care in assigned behavioral health units. The nurse will provide direct care to patients with mental health conditions by conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, administering medications, and providing therapeutic communication and crisis intervention. Key duties include monitoring patient well-being, educating patients and families, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and supportive environment for recovery.

Requirements

Registered Nurse: 6 mons to 1 year - Required
Behavioral Health RN experience. Recent/Current, 6+ months – Required
Children experience – Required
ASN or an equivalent – Required
RN License for State of OK or Compact - Required
AHA BLS Certifications - Required

Nice To Haves

Travel experience - Highly preferred
BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
Handle with Care - Preferred
