About The Position

Seeking a compassionate Travel Radiologic Technologist for SUNY Upstate Medical University. The hourly pay rate is $70, which includes a $202 daily tax-exempt stipend.

Requirements

• One year experience as a Radiologic Technologist required.
• AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• NYS license/registration and ARRT (must obtain within 1 year of appointment).
• Must have a limited permit if NYS License/Registration hasn't been obtained yet.
• CPR Certified.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
• Ensure patients are positioned correctly for optimal image quality and provide patient care, explaining procedures and answering questions.
• Practice radiation safety and protection to minimize patient exposure.
• Provide radiologic examinations based on the needs of referring physicians and radiologists.
