What You'll Do Execute multi-work stream engagements effectively, prioritizing customer requests using appropriate project management methodologies and tools Provide day-to-day support to travelers and suppliers, addressing questions, guidance requests, and escalation issues Ensure awareness and communication of travel policy across the organization and conduct on-site training seminars Deliver relevant reporting materials to key stakeholders across all markets, focusing on spend and behavior analytics Monitor KPIs, track travel policy effectiveness, and drive regular policy update initiatives Lead a team of subject matter experts in strategy, program management, on-boarding, change management, and cost management Collaborate with travel management, account managers, and service delivery teams to implement recommendations operationally Lead demand management activities, drive online process awareness, and partner with business stakeholders to optimize T&E spend Maintain intranet travel pages, internal social media presence, and facilitate best practice sharing with client stakeholders Analyze data, develop insights, and create actionable recommendations to support strategic sourcing and program optimization What We're Looking For Proven strategic leadership experience managing travel programs and leading cross-functional teams of subject matter experts Strong program management expertise with demonstrated success in on-boarding, change management, and cost optimization Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to develop data-driven hypotheses and actionable recommendations Demonstrated stakeholder management capability across multiple markets and organizational levels Strong communication and presentation skills with experience in training, knowledge sharing, and internal communications Solid understanding of T&E spend management, ROI optimization, and business intelligence principles Proficiency with project management methodologies, tools, and best practices for executing complex engagements Customer-focused mindset with commitment to delivering solutions-based strategies aligned with business objectives Ability to manage competing priorities, drive change initiatives, and adapt to evolving business needs Experience with travel policy compliance, travel category management, and strategic sourcing initiatives Location United States The US national base salary range for this position is from $88,200.00 - $163,800.00 The national range provided includes the base salary that Amex GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location. In addition to base salary, the anticipated range of which is posted above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which rewards participants based on company and individual performance. Requirements

  • Proven strategic leadership experience managing travel programs and leading cross-functional teams of subject matter experts
