Travel Physical Therapist
About The Position
Advance Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Travel Physical Therapist to cover assignments in the Atlanta, Georgia area, including North Georgia Mountains, Metro Atlanta, South Georgia, and the Northern Florida Coast. The company is committed to providing high-quality rehabilitation services in a cost-effective and time-efficient manner, focusing on outpatient care, industrial rehabilitation, athletic training, and sports medicine. The role involves assessing patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, providing direct patient care, documenting progress, overseeing assistants and technicians, and communicating with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance companies.
Requirements
- Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current state of Georgia physical therapy license, CPR certification
- Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills
- Outgoing and energetic personality

Responsibilities
- Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
- Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
- Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
- Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
- Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
- Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
- Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
