Travel Physical Therapist
About The Position
Advance Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Travel Physical Therapist based in or near St. Simons Island, Georgia. Clinic coverage may include the coastal Golden Isles region, as well as nearby communities across Southeast Georgia and Northern Florida. This role offers the chance to live and work in a scenic beach town while exploring other vibrant areas throughout the Southeast. The position involves assessing patients to develop and initiate treatment plans, providing direct patient care, documenting progress, and overseeing the work of assistants and technicians. The therapist will also be responsible for creating written plans of care, setting goals, and implementing comprehensive physical therapy programs, while effectively communicating with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance companies.
Requirements
- Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current state of Georgia Physical Therapy license, CPR certification
- Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills

Responsibilities
- Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
- Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
- Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
- Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
- Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
- Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
- Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
