About The Position
Advance Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) based in or near St. Simons Island, Georgia. This role involves clinic coverage in the coastal Golden Isles region and nearby communities in Southeast Georgia and Northern Florida. It offers an opportunity to develop skills in various outpatient settings while enjoying coastal town charm and regional travel flexibility.
Requirements
- Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current state of Georgia PTA license
- CPR certification is Required
- Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills
- Outgoing and energetic personality

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in implementing treatment plans to improve patient mobility, strength, and independence
- Instruct patients in proper exercise techniques and use of equipment
- Document patient progress accurately and timely, maintaining compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
- Communicate clearly with patients, caregivers, and the clinical team
- Support overall clinic operations and collaborate with rehab technicians and other staff as needed
- Adapt quickly to different clinical settings and patient populations throughout the travel coverage area
