About The Position

This position is for a Travel Occupational Therapist. Unlike working for agency after agency, with this travel program, you get to work for a single company, with one recruiter from start to finish and assignment to assignment. Both local and non-local positions are available. The role offers a competitive hourly rate in addition to a tax-free stipend (if applicable) and guarantees no pay cuts mid-contract. A referral bonus of up to $1000 per referral is offered, along with license reimbursement if traveling to a new state requiring a new license. Employees can choose assignments at partner facilities from various health systems across the country. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing and directing Occupational Therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication in assigned locations, functioning under a physician's order. This position also involves supervisory responsibilities over Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) and Rehabilitation Aides/Therapy Techs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy, where accepted
  • Master's degree required otherwise
  • NBCOT registered and licensed per state of practice requirements
  • Current, valid, and active license per state requirements in the state of employment
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor
  • Current, valid, and active driver's license
  • Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation
  • Vibra follows federal and state requirements for vaccinations, vaccination offerings, and disease screening
