About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist (ARRT MR) to support a high-volume imaging department for a 13-week travel assignment. This role requires strong technical expertise, a patient-focused approach, and flexibility to accommodate call schedules and departmental needs.
Requirements
- ARRT (MR) Certification – Required
- BLS Certification – Required
- Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
- Minimum 1 year of EMR experience (EPIC preferred)
- Strong knowledge of MRI procedures, imaging techniques, and patient safety standards
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Willingness to participate in call schedules
Nice To Haves
- Prior travel assignment experience preferred
- First-time travelers may be considered based on overall experience
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during all procedures
- Operate MRI equipment efficiently while maintaining high image quality standards
- Screen patients for MRI safety contraindications
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support accurate diagnostic outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within an electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Participate in scheduled call rotations, including nights and weekends
- Float to other units or locations as needed based on competency
- Adhere to all facility policies, including safety, infection control, and radiology guidelines
