About The Position

Bring preventive healthcare directly to patients where they live while building a career that keeps you moving. In this full-time W2 Travel Medical Assistant role, you’ll complete scheduled in-home wellness visits across U.S. markets, combining hands-on patient care, independence, and nationwide travel instead of spending every day in one clinic. This is a field-based Medical Assistant role focused on preventive care, care-gap support, patient relationships, and accurate documentation — not urgent care. You’ll visit patients in their homes for wellness-focused appointments such as Annual Wellness Visits, Medicare wellness visits, and Well-Child Visits.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
• Medical Assistant credential, certification, diploma, or equivalent qualification
• Hands-on clinical Medical Assistant experience with direct patient care responsibilities
• Comfort working independently in patient homes
• Comfort with local, same-day travel and extended travel assignments
• Ability to travel nationwide anywhere within the U.S. based on business and patient coverage needs
• Ability to travel frequently, potentially on a week-to-week basis
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license for local or same-day visits

Nice To Haves

• Experience conducting Annual Wellness Visits
• Experience conducting Well-Child Visits
• Prior home visit, mobile care, field-based care, or community health experience
• Experience documenting patient visits in an EMR/EHR system

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled home-based wellness visits
• Support Annual Wellness Visits, Medicare wellness visits, and Well-Child Visits
• Gather and document patient information in an EMR/EHR system
• Perform basic point-of-care support such as vitals, UAs, A1Cs, screenings, and questionnaires
• Help patients feel comfortable, respected, and unrushed during visits
• Manage a mobile field workflow while traveling between patient homes
