Travel LPN - Rehab
About The Position
Tryfacta is seeking a Travel LPN for a 13-week contract assignment on a 41-bed short-term rehabilitation unit in Newark, New York. The unit specializes in wound care, wound vacs, IVs, PICC lines, and nephrostomy care. Patient diagnoses include patients recovering from orthopedic and cardiac procedures, as well as patients with wounds, hypertension, CHF, and renal failure. The schedule is five 8-hour mid shifts per week, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with 40 hours guaranteed weekly. Weekend coverage is every other weekend, and the nurse may float according to facility needs. Only travelers living more than 50 miles away are accepted; local candidates are not accepted. The hourly pay rate is $45–$48.
Requirements
- Active New York State LPN license.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- At least 1 year of experience.
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted.
- Submit fingerprint forms within 48 hours of signing.
- Patient ratio experience of 1:10 is required.
