Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Medford, Oregon. This role supports a home health program delivering one-on-one patient care focused on improving functional independence, activities of daily living, and overall quality of life in the home setting. POSITION OVERVIEW This assignment is ideal for Occupational Therapists with strong home health experience who are comfortable working independently, managing their own caseload, and completing OASIS documentation accurately. ASSIGNMENT DETAILS • 13-week contract • Day shift 5x8s (08:00–16:30) • 1:1 patient visits :contentReference[oaicite:0]index=0 • Up to 6 visits per day (30 productivity points standard) • No weekends required • No call required • Local candidates accepted at same rate • 1 position available COMPENSATION Because travel rates change frequently based on market demand and facility needs, our recruiters provide the most current and competitive pay packages during your initial conversation. Each compensation package is customized and may include taxable hourly wages along with tax-free stipends when applicable. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform home health OT evaluations and treatments • Complete OASIS assessments and documentation • Develop and implement individualized care plans • Provide ADL training and functional mobility support • Deliver patient and caregiver education • Treat orthopedic, neurologic, and post-surgical conditions • Document all care in Epic/OASIS system WORK ENVIRONMENT • Home health (field-based care) • Independent caseload management • Travel within assigned territory (up to 50+ mile radius) • Mileage reimbursement provided (IRS standard) Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting. Requirements
- Minimum 1 year Skilled Home Health OT experience REQUIRED (HARD STOP)
- OASIS experience REQUIRED (HARD STOP)
- First-time travelers NOT accepted
- BLS REQUIRED (in hand at submission)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be comfortable working independently in the field
- OR OT license REQUIRED (pending accepted, must be active prior to start)
