About The Position
Under SellOffVacations, the Home-Based Travel Expert provides high-quality service to consumer travel clients and develops long-term working relationships to build a strong repeat customer base. The role sells preferred supplier products, provides detailed travel information, supports local business-building and networking, helps resolve client complaints, and maintains accurate client files in accordance with company policy. The Travel Expert works with consumers, tour operators, and internal support departments.
Requirements
- Experience as a Travel Advisor.
- Ability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Provincial certification and TICO.
- One year of previous retail travel agency experience.
- Located anywhere in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality service to consumer travel clients and build long-term relationships that encourage repeat business.
- Sell a full range of preferred supplier products to meet and exceed targets.
- Provide accurate and complex travel information, including detailed travel documentation.
- Organize and assist with local business-building promotions and local networking.
- Assist in resolving client complaints.
- Invoice and document client files accurately in accordance with company policy.
- Work closely with consumers, tour operators, and internal support departments.
