About The Position
We are hiring experienced Travel EMT's for a 16-week Inter-Facility Transport (IFT) assignment in Dallas, TX. Housing is provided during rotations. This role involves providing Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Life Support (ALS) care during inter-facility transports, monitoring patients requiring continuous medical support, and ensuring accurate documentation. The position also requires maintaining ambulance readiness and safe operation of emergency vehicles.
Requirements
- Texas EMT License OR EMS Compact State License with NR-EMT.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of IFTs and 911 experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Life Support (ALS) care during inter-facility transports.
- Monitor and manage patients requiring continuous medical support during transport, including critical care cases.
- Accurately complete patient care reports and all required clinical documentation in a timely manner.
- Ensure ambulance readiness by inspecting, restocking, and maintaining medical supplies and equipment.
- Safely operate emergency vehicles in compliance with traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols during day and night shifts.
- Communicate effectively with hospital staff, dispatch, and receiving facilities to ensure continuity of care.
