About The Position

Heartline Staffing is seeking a Travel Dental Hygienist for a high-demand assignment supporting a hospital-based dental clinic environment. This role focuses on preventative care, patient education, and clinical support within a structured weekday schedule. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently while collaborating with a broader clinical team.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene required
• Active South Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist license required
• BLS certification required
• Strong patient education and communication skills required

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 0–1 year experience preferred
• Experience with Epic or similar EMR preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform oral prophylaxis including removal of deposits and stains
• Apply fluoride treatments and preventative care measures
• Take and develop dental radiographs
• Provide oral hygiene instruction and patient education
• Conduct health history reviews and record vital signs
• Document findings and procedures accurately in EMR
• Support appointment coordination and patient flow

Benefits

• Stipend $1,323/week
• OT: 1.35x after 40 hours
• Modules: paid up to 16 hours
