Travel Counselor/Tour Guide
About The Position
The City of Staunton Tourism Department is seeking Part-Time Travel Counselors to work in its Visitor Center providing information and customer service to visitors to Staunton and serving as an ambassador to the community. Duties include providing information on attractions, fees, directions, entertainment, accommodations, restaurants, etc. Position requires a customer service-oriented personality, ability to deal with a variety of people in a friendly, helpful manner, and present a positive public image. Problem solving skills, creative thinking, and experience using a computer or mobile device to navigate and access information required and knowledge of local attractions also required.
