About The Position

Pilot Company is seeking an experienced Retail General Manager to oversee high-volume retail facilities. The role involves generating and executing travel center and restaurant business plans to meet established standards, sales, and profit objectives, while ensuring customer satisfaction. The General Manager will also be responsible for conducting meetings with subordinate employees and maintaining effective vendor relationships. This position requires building, coaching, managing, and developing teams through staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training. Key responsibilities include driving sales, managing team members, tracking inventory, providing customer service, and performing P&L analysis.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of management experience in the retail, restaurant, grocery, or other service industry with responsibility for financial results
  • Previous management proficiency in high volume retail with P&L accountability
  • Ability to create and maintain a customer focused culture
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends and holidays
