Requirements
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Previous one year of Coronary Care hospital experience required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
- Provide direct patient care within scope
- Guide patient/family education and support nursing staff
- Maintain CCU care standards
- Responsible and accountable for assigned patients
- Communicate patient condition changes and results to physicians
- Respond quickly and accurately to condition/treatment changes
