About The Position

This travel program offers a unique opportunity to work with a dedicated recruiter from start to finish and assignment to assignment. We provide both local and non-local positions with competitive hourly rates in addition to a tax-free stipend (if applicable). Enjoy the security of no pay cuts mid-contract, a referral bonus program (up to $1000 per referral!), and license reimbursement if traveling to a new state requiring a new license. You'll have your pick of assignments at partner facilities from various health systems across the country.

Requirements

  • Current ARRT required.
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required
  • Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Radiology Tech in the state of employment required.
  • Two (2) years of recent experience required.
  • State Fluoroscopy license required where applicable.
  • Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
  • Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation
  • Recent acute care experience for acute care and LTAC placements
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travles-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience scrubbing for cardiac cath procedures

Nice To Haves

  • ACLS may be required by some clients.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-stress, emergent situations
  • Familiarity with common cath lab and IR imaging systems
  • Detail-oriented and organized

Responsibilities

  • Accurately position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety while adhering to radiation protection protocols.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT scanners, and ultrasound machines, to obtain high-quality images.
  • Assist physicians during interventional procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies, and by maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media under the direction of a physician, following established protocols.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper archiving in the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Monitor patients during procedures, observing for any complications or unusual events, and report findings to the physician.
