Wachter is seeking a dynamic person for a Travel Operations Support role based out of our Lenexa, KS office. We are seeking individuals who are detail-oriented, organized, and either have experience in travel coordination or are eager to learn new skills. We seek self-motivated and reliable candidates who can work independently and find solutions to complete the job. This is a full-time position: Monday - Friday: 8 am - 5 pm Once trained, 4 days in the office and 1 day work from home. On-Call After Hours

Requirements

  • Travel coordinator experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated with strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with the use of personal computers, including email, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office programs, and web-based platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent customer relationship and communication skills; verbal and written.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CLC and SAP Concur is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming travel requests and maintain the travel queue to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate flights, car rentals, and hotel accommodations for multiple departments while securing the most cost-effective options.
  • Proactively resolve travel conflicts and issues as they arise.
  • Confirm and distribute all travel itineraries and reservation details to travelers.
  • Review and verify travel invoices and statements for accuracy; ensure proper allocation to customer accounts for Accounts Payable.
  • Excel in a role requiring on-the-fly changes with a good attitude; it is essential to cultivate adaptability, resilience, and a solution-oriented mind.
  • Maintain accounts payable records, process invoices, and communicate with vendors to resolve past-due items.
