About The Position

This position is 100% FTE, full-time, day shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, and will be located at the UW Health Swedish American Hospital. The role involves coordinating trauma services and may include additional compensation components such as evening, night, and weekend shift differential, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Experience can be Emergency or Critical Care or a combination of both.
  • At least 5 years of trauma care experience.
  • Current RN license from State of Illinois.
  • Trauma Nurse Specialist Certification required within one year of hire.
  • Willing to achieve and maintain ACLS, PALS, TNCC within first year of hire as well as becoming a TNCC instructor candidate.

Nice To Haves

  • TNCC, ACLS, PALS certifications are highly desirable.
