About The Position

Manage and maintain the Trauma Registry to ensure accurate, complete data that supports high-quality trauma care and program performance. Review and abstract trauma patient records carefully to capture essential clinical details that drive reporting, benchmarking, and continuous improvement. Analyze trauma data to identify trends and opportunities for quality improvement and support compliance with national trauma standards. Generate and present quality assurance reports that help leadership monitor outcomes, strengthen processes, and maintain trauma program readiness. Collaborate with trauma program leaders and clinical teams to address data discrepancies and support ongoing performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Registrar specializing in Trauma Registry obtained within 36 Months (3 years) of hire date or job transfer date required.
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in trauma registry abstraction, coding, clinical documentation review, or trauma program data management.
ICD10 coding experience or certification.
