As Trauma Program Manager, you will lead clinical, operational, educational, and quality improvement initiatives to advance pediatric trauma care. Working closely with physicians, nurses, EMS, and hospital leaders, you will enhance patient outcomes, strengthen program performance, and drive regulatory excellence. This high-impact leadership role offers the opportunity to shape a premier Level I pediatric trauma program while expanding your expertise in quality management, program development, and collaborative leadership within a nationally recognized academic health system. A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on-site at Main Campus.
Requirements
- Five years of experience in Emergency Department or Critical Care Nursing
- 1 year or more of pediatric experience is required, whether in the ED, ICU, or a medical-surgical unit.
- Current valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing

- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) audit or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN)
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other disciplines throughout hospitals to develop and implement the American College of Surgeons (ACS) standards for care of trauma patient.
- Ensure compliance with Ohio state law as related to Trauma Centers and trauma patients.
- Establish and maintain relationships with community officials, trauma and EMS organizations as a liaison for the Hospital.
- Represent Trauma Service on selected hospital and community committees.
- Co-chair trauma related committees in collaboration with the Medical Director for Trauma.
