Works in conjunction with Trauma Medical Director, Trauma Program Manager and PI Specialist to target prevention focus areas. Develops and disseminates injury prevention materials through local and statewide networks to enhance public education and awareness on predictability and preventability of injuries. Acts as liaison for area health care agencies in development of injury prevention initiatives. Helps to develop quality initiatives with staff. Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict. Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Current RN with 2 years of experience in Critical Care: Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Trauma
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
