About The Position
Responsible for monitoring and evaluating the care of trauma patients and the coordination of performance improvement and patient safety programs for the trauma center in conjunction with the trauma medical director (from state regulations). Serves as a member of the interdisciplinary trauma team, functioning as a patient advocate, educator, key point of contact and liaison between the patient and all other appropriate services.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in trauma patient care
- Knowledge of performance improvement and patient safety programs
- Ability to function as a patient advocate, educator, and liaison
