About The Position

Ally Waste is hiring a part-time Trash Valet Floater to provide coverage at various properties when regularly assigned trash valets are unavailable. The role requires flexibility and reliability to help ensure uninterrupted trash collection services. Each evening, the Trash Valet collects tied trash bags from apartment doorsteps and transports them to the community dumpster. The position works as needed for coverage Sunday through Thursday evenings, starting at 8 p.m.; shifts typically last one to two hours. Pay is up to $60 per night. The role involves working independently outdoors in all weather conditions and staying active while walking around apartment communities. Ally Waste is a nationally recognized valet trash and recycling provider serving apartment communities, student housing, and senior living facilities across the country. Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
Proof of auto insurance listing the applicant as a covered driver.
Reliable transportation; an open-bed pickup truck is required.
Smartphone.
Ability to carry up to 30 pounds.
Ability to walk stairs and remain active for one to two hours.
Flexibility and reliability to work at different properties as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide coverage at various properties when regularly assigned trash valets are unavailable due to callouts or scheduled leave.
Walk apartment communities and collect tied trash bags from residents’ doorsteps.
Transport collected bags to the designated community dumpster area.
Take and upload photos using the company app.
Follow safety guidelines and use provided personal protective equipment.
