About The Position

We are hiring immediately for a full time TRASH TECHNICIAN position. This role involves collecting, transporting, and properly disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols. The position is located at Baptist Beaumont Hospital in Beaumont, TX. Requirements

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Prior cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
