About The Position
We are hiring immediately for a part time TRASH TECHNICIAN position. This role involves collecting, transporting, and properly disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have the physical ability to perform these tasks and follow instructions. TouchPoint Support Services, part of Compass Healthcare, focuses on providing hospitality services within Ascension Health hospitals, creating moments that matter through meals, facilities, and patient support.
Requirements
- Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities
- Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
- Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
- Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
