Trash Technician (Full Time)
About The Position
We have an opening for full time TRASH TECHNICIAN positions. Location : 2022 Ashland Road, Rockville, VA 23146. Note: online applications accepted only . Schedule : Employees will be assigned to either Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday schedules, working 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (days) or 7:00 PM–5:30 AM (nights). During the initial site startup and construction clean phase, all team members will temporarily work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM before transitioning to their assigned schedule. Requirement : Previous janitorial experience is preferred, but not required. Willing to train! Requirements
- Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
Nice To Haves
- Previous janitorial experience is preferred, but not required. Willing to train!
Responsibilities
- Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.
- Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
- Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
- Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
