About The Position

We are hiring immediately for full time TRASH TECHNICIAN positions. This role involves collecting, transporting, and properly disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols. The position is with Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, which provides specialized, high-quality, innovative support services exclusively to the healthcare industry. As a market leader in Environmental Services (EVS), Crothall supports nearly 1,300 accounts and has nearly 30,000 team members.

Requirements

Prior janitorial or custodial experience required.
Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
Performs other duties as assigned.
