About The Position

The Transporter is responsible for providing and documenting transportation services to clients of The Counseling Center, Inc. This role involves providing transportation services to clients utilizing the agency van or other designated vehicle, maintaining necessary documentation related to transportation services in a neat and timely manner, scheduling vehicle maintenance and maintaining necessary documentation related to vehicle maintenance according to agency policy and procedure, and providing input regarding transportation scheduling. Secondary functions include performing any other duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator/Director.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Good driving history required.
• Valid Ohio Motor Vehicle License required and ability to maintain insurability.
• Maintain CPR and First Aid training.
• Knowledge about the disease of addiction, treatment, and recovery process of chemically dependent individuals.
• Must maintain all applicable agency trainings.
• Ability to demonstrate safe driving practices.
• Ability in effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate and timely records.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with chemically dependent individuals preferred.
