Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of driver services experience
- Must be reliable and dependable
- Organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment
- Ability to prioritize and organize work
Responsibilities
- Deliver supplies and medication to patient's/nursing homes
- Maintain appropriate documentation (i.e. delivery tickets)
- Pick up, clean and calibrate equipment as required
- Perform small maintenance on vehicle
- Maintain vehicle mileage/vehicle check log and service schedule
- Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with company policy
- Properly exchange Emergency Kits (E-Kits) at facilities.
- Maintain custody of controlled medications until delivery and return delivery documentation as required.
- Ensure communication with delivery supervisors for additional assignments prior to ending the shift.
- Able and willing to drive in various weather conditions
- Maintain a clean work environment (i.e. leave the delivery vehicle interior clean).
- Become familiar with all delivery routes, entire delivery area, and be able to efficiently adjust the route for weather conditions and construction.
- Report delivery vehicle concerns to Driver Services Supervisor for correction.
