Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required
- Previous healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to transport patients in wheelchairs, stretchers or cookie chairs required
- Ability to stand or walk for periods of time required
- Ability to use handheld electronic devices/computers required
- Excellent documentation skills required
- Excellent verbal communication skills required
- Ability to provide excellent customer service required
Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient transport by stretcher, wheelchair or cookie chair to designated locations throughout the facility.
- Upon request, transports medications with patients and connects patients to O2, if needed.
