About The Position
Seeking Transporter! Baptist Health Floyd is looking for a Transporter to join their team in the Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area. This PRN position is responsible for the timely, courteous, and competent transportation of patients throughout the Baptist Health Floyd facility via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed. The role also involves transporting specimens, equipment/supplies, messages, and parcels as designated. Additionally, the Transporter performs various other support services functions to provide service excellence to patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS certification from approved BLS course required
Nice To Haves
- Will provide training for BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Timely, courteous, and competent transportation of patients throughout Baptist Health Floyd facility via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed.
- Transporting specimens, equipment/supplies, messages, and parcels, as designated.
- Performing a variety of other support services functions as needed to provide service excellence to patients, visitors and hospital staff.
