About The Position

The Transporter opportunity is a key member of the Lighthouse Clinical Services Team who will integrate and coordinate a patient centric therapeutic strategy with a keen focus on transportation safety; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective transportation is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements. The Transporter is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting patients to and from the facility across various levels of care, including outpatient and inpatient programs.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
A minimum of 21 years old.
Driver’s Record validation is required annually for all authorized drivers. Authorized drivers cannot have any of the following:
Driver’s license currently revoked, suspended or that the status is not valid and current.
Multiple violations for driving without insurance.
Two at-fault accidents during the past three (3) years.
Three moving violations during the last three (3) years; and,
Driving under the influence (DUI) or driving while intoxicated (DWI) convictions.

Responsibilities

Vital part in ensuring continuity of care by facilitating timely and professional transport services for admissions.
Participate in daily program execution and discharges.
Must demonstrate excellent judgment, safe driving practices, and professional conduct when interacting with patients and families.
